• Buttons is one of the most delightful dogs on the planet.

• He lives with Monty and loves him to bits.

• At one stage Buttons had to have a leg operation and was unable to walk with us. He was still quite young and it broke our hearts to leave him behind when we picked up Monty for his walks. So we’d always make sure they were first pickup and we’d take the little bloke with us on the pickups and drop him back home before we got to the park. This has created a most special bond between us and Buttons is always up for several cuddles on every single walk. Which is not to say he’s a wussy boy!

• He’ll try to grab the ball out of the mouth of any of the bigger dogs and he has developed into a great tree climber and, if any other dog is looking for a bit of a play, Buttons is the boy.
