• Normally when we meet a new Critter Club member and her family there is much excitement from the new pup.

• Not Josie. In walked the Dog Walker Extraordinaire and under the couch went Josie. Not a good start.

• The first day when we went to pick her up: under the couch, run across to under the bed, back to under the couch. Then, gottya! Not good for the self esteem of the Dog Rock God.

• Fast forward three days, Josie rushes to the door to greet us, drowns us with kisses, takes her place boldly on the front seat of the car, then bursts from the vehicle at the park, playing like a mad girl for the full hour. Hate to say it Josie, you gorgeous little girl, but we told you so!
