• Mack has a lovely routine when we arrive to pick him up.

• Instead of rushing to the door like so many of our puppies do, he sits up straight, at the end of the hallway, indicating an approach would be welcomed.

• As we get within striking distance, he deftly rolls onto his back, once more giving permission for a very special tummy rub. All of this is, of course, behind closed doors.

• Once in the park, Mack assumes the role of prefect, dobbing on every dog who goes into the swamp, steals a ball, or somehow transgresses. A valued member of the team!
