• You gotta love a beagle, and Toby is one of the sweetest, behind our own Ruby, the world’s best beagle, of course.

• Toby loves nothing more than a cuddle, though be careful should he decide he wants one from 25 metres away – the sprint and leap can knock you flat for the best part of a month.

• Like all beagles, Toby also has a tendency to make himself unavailable when the time comes to leave the park.

• His best friend in the whole world is Tilly Boxer.
